{{Personality}}
Positive traits: Determined Fun Confident and bold Negative traits: Stubborn Temper Rash Likes/Hobbies: Knowledge Independence Sarcasm Dislikes: Having to do absolutely nothing Boredom Arrogant creatures Fears: Abandonment Overall Personality: In general, Calypso is a fun loving, wild, and rebellious dolphin unafraid to do and say what she wants. A rebel from the beginning, Cally has never fully accepted the need to sometimes follow rules. She'll take on any challenge with confidence and if she's victorious, she'll just move on to something harder. Calypso has always been determined too, well, some may say stubborn, but just don't tell her that. She's friendly to her those that she knows well and has her own unique sense of humour that can be described to be sarcasmn. There are some down sides to Cally's personality as well, she's not all sunshine and rainbows, her impatience can get annoying and her temper can turn out to be quite scary. Nothing sets off her temper like someone trying to boss her around, and nothing makes her happier than the freedom to do whatever she wants.
Calypso was and is energetic, after all, swimming is considered an athletic activity. She loves jumping into the air and rocketing through the water as fast as she can. Most of the time, Cally is independent and intelligent. But sometimes she can get herself into some unwanted trouble. Her rash attitude towards some specific dangers can get her into some pretty tight situations. But that never stops her from having more of her 'fun'. That's just the way Cally is.
Cally is known for her two sided personality. One side is her fun and rebellious attitude, and her other side is her seriousness. Some things seem to trigger her memory and suddenly, she'll be grim and thoughtful for a few minutes, remembering her childhood. It's not such a simple personality is it? Well, Calypso has seen a lot of things she would most likely not mention to anybody but her close, close friends. So far, she hasn't found any yet.
{{History}} Family: Mother: Dusk- Became depressed and disappeared. Her fate is unknown.
Father: Pacific- Captured by humans, currently held captive at a cheap aquarium. Is trying to break free of his prison.
History: Calypso was born to Dusk and Pacific. After Cally's birth, Pacific mysteriously disappeared. Calypso and her mother waited patiently, but their beloved family member never came back home. Some suspected he might have been killed by another marine animal, some think it might have been the human weapons. Whatever it was, the result was the same. Calypso and her mother travelled for a while, both depressed and alone. One day, it was about a month after Cally's father's disappearance, her mother said good bye and left. Even Calypso knew this was so unnatural and strange, it went against her mother's instinct to take care of her offspring. But death can do strange things to one's mind, so off went Dusk. Just like that, so quickly. Sometimes, time passes differently when tragedies happen. Especially if it's been the second time in a row. Cally watched in horror as her own mother sped off through the icy waters, until she was gone, but Cally kept staring at the devastating path her mother had taken.
After that, Calypso had never felt so completely alone. She was now about five, and almost at full size. Well, she's always been small for her age. Cally remembers wishing she had a sibling. She wandered the dangerous waters alone, and miraculously she managed to survive. She watched silently at other dolphins hunting, learning what her mother didn't teach her. She learned quickly, and soon she was maneuvering through the ocean with ease. All this time, she hardly noticed how much freedom she had. She could do whatever she wanted whenever she wanted to. But then again, Calypso probably would have wanted her family back then this unlimited freedom. She wanted company every once in a while. Who didn't? You couldn't blame her. Before, at least she had a mother to guide her through tough times. Now, her whole life was turning out to be quite tough.
One day, Calypso wandered too far from her homeland, having an unexpected meeting with some humans. She guessed they were nice enough, because they took her in, finding she had no group or family with her. Maybe it was rare for them to see a lone dolphin. She remembered her terror seeing them in their boats, lifting her out of the water and taking her away from the ocean. She remembered the shock she experienced when they dropped her into a pool of artificial ocean water. There were so many strange creatures there, some she'd never seen before. Cally remembers her relief though too, when the humans started taking care of her. Her stay at the rehabilitation center hadn't been that bad since she learned that they were only taking care of her until she was grown and ready to take on the ocean on her own. After about a year, they sent her back to the sea, except it wasn't somewhere she'd been before. It was an unfamiliar new world for her. She remembered looking back at them, she would miss the nice humans, but she would always want her freedom more.
After Calypso was dropped off by the humans, she travelled away from the blue abyss, eventually meeting the Creeds. She didn't plan to stay long, but after about a week, she decided to stay. For a while, Cally was simply a member, but her ambition drove her to earn the trust she needed from the other members. She was a working machine, her determination kept her on top, and then, finally she was considered ready to become a Regina. From then on, she's a bit more serious than the used to be, but for now, she believes it to be a good personality trait she had gained. Calypso is still a bit new to her position so sometimes she can make mistakes. Hopefully the results won't be too drastic...
