Collizion was held secure in a harness, and as he laid there in his usual solemn mood the humans scuffled around him, almost in a panic. Some of the more gracious land walkers, the ones that actually seemed to remember the huge marine beast that laid on the deck, grabbed hoses and started to spray the brute down. It was early morning on the harbor and Zion's first early morning memories was of those when the humans forced him into the nuisance harness and had hoisted the beast out of his holding tank and onto a vehicle. This was the most uncomfortable moment in his life, besides the time he had beached himself and had gotten himself into this situation in the first place, he was out of water and again at the humans' mercy. The sun wasn't quite up as the large vehicle sped down winding roads and finally hoisted him onto the boat where he found himself now.
The orca brute became restless and started to trash around lightly, the rising sun continued to beat on his back as the few select humans continued to water him. Just passed the boat wall he could see the ocean, and miles of it. As his eyes darted over the vast horizon of water, not a break in sight, one human, a young female, tapped on his snout and gestured to open his mouth. The orca beast thrashed a bit more and let out a low, squealing cry that bellowed deep from his throat. It was a sad cry, but his mouth was open and so the young female took the opportunity to spray his mouth and tongue with fresh water. The brute closed his mouth and let out a few more squeaks that seemed to put the crew at a stand still.
"Ready to dump'im" a brooding man called out to his team. "His vitals are good and I'm pretty sure he's ready to go"
|
[/i] an older female called out from behind an electronic box. As if all the humans had gotten the OK they all went to their stations and Zion knew he was about to taste his freedom again. A few stationed themselves around Collizion's harness, a couple oened the hatch on the back of the water vessel, and the large brooding man took control of the machine that was holding the whale in place. And all at once, as the machine started to squeal and crank to whale toward the opening of the boat and the humans beside him guiding the harness, Zion could feel the salty mist collide with his draw body. As if pure excitement had gripped the orca, as the harness was just out of reach from the boat, the brute thrashed harder without any hesitation the brooding man dropped the harness and the water enveloped the orca. Relief washed over the whale as he squirmed out of the harness. The water around him was soothing beyond compare. He slowly went up to the surface to take a breath of air and as he did so he heard loud cheering from the boat. The humans were happy for him. "Happy for me? Pity" the orca brute thought as he swallowed the air and launched down under the water swimming away from the vessel that dropped him here. "Farewell Humans... His husky voice sounded as he kept swimming and he didn't bother to give a look back. This new ocean was exactly that, new, and Zion had no idea where to start. The sun beat down on Calypso, dehydrating her skin at the most amazing speed. If it wasn't for the humans splashing buckets of water on her, she'd probably die of the heat. As the boat zoomed on past the shallow ends of this new ocean, a thought hit her. They were letting her go.
Cally stayed still in her harness as a few humans kept her wet. The sun was a bit higher in the sky now, and the heat just kept growing. The whirring of the boat relaxed her, maybe it was because the boat was taking her to her long wanted freedom. Either way, as she boat moved towards deeper water, Calypso felt it slowing, and finally, it stopped. A young man came, giving her a checkup, the said something to the rest of the crew. "She's ready" a gruff voice came. Then, without a warning, they lifted her out of the boat, and dropped her into the sea.
The cool ocean water felt like home, and as Cally swam away from the waving humans, she looked back once, making sure they knew that she was grateful. Diving under the water, she swam aimlessly, happy to be back in the sea. But it seemed like a different ocean, not that it really mattered to her.
Calypso heard another boat zoom away along with the boat that she had come in. Maybe there was someone else who had been set free with her. The ocean seemed incredibly quiet there though, and empty. "Hello?" her voice cut through the otherwise icy silence. But even if this animal didn't answer, this was going to be the beginning for her.

His fin was out of the water and he felt a cool breeze brush past it as he swam. 'This place is too perfect....and too quiet' he thought warily. A positive thought never lasted too long in Zion's caged mind. The water rippled around his fin, the only sound came from the small waves that crawled by him. The water was blue and clear and yet lonely, but Zion didn't mind, he actually somewhat enjoyed the silence.
And while Collizion was slowly closing his eyes and letting the surroundings wash over him he heard the muffled sound of a human water vessel. Had his human captors come back to retrieve him? The brute huffed loudly and swam toward the sound, he would give them a piece of his mind. By the time the large orca had reached where he thought the sound was coming from the boat had gone, leaving its trail of waves behind it. Shrugging the random incident off he aimed toward the ocean floor, only about 40 feet down, and swam to it. Reaching the bottom a few small fish scurried away at the sight of the whale. Zion rolled on his side and rubbed up against the sandy floor, scratching his now scabbed over boat wound. Sighing loudly, he stopped suddenly when he saw the faintest light blue silhouette not to far off.
A dolphin? Would she see him?

It was hot. The sun beat endlessly upon the killer whale's exposed back. An enormous human stood scowling at her beneath a single brow. "I could push her out to sea myself" He boasted to his fellow humans, all of whom stopped what they were doing and laughed loudly. Asphyxiation's contempt was obvious on her face, and she gave a loud, shrieking cry. The man jumped a few feet backwards and landed soundly on his backside. Asphyxiation replied with a series of clicks in approval and turned one large eye on yet another human standing near her. He held a long, snake-like hose in one hand. The glare he received from the orca seemed to break him out of whatever reverie he had been prisoner to. A jet of icy water buffeted her sides. The princess showed no indication she had noticed, aside from the involuntary relaxing of muscles along her whole body.
After what seemed hours of this monotony, the humans' actions suddenly became frenzy-like. They scuttled back and forth at speed, and a weathered-looking old man approached Asphyxiation. Knowingly patting the sea creature on the tip of her nose, he walked a few slow circles around the trussed killer whale, occasionally running his tiny, wrinkled hands along the her sides. When he reached her wounded fin, he fingered parts of the fin. Asphyxiation involuntarily twitched. He chuckled and patted her sides comfortingly again. "No worries here, mates. I don't think it will re-open. She's good to go." His speech threw the humans into overdrive. The hulking man who Fissy had first scared began to bellow orders like "Faster!" and "Put your back into it!" At length, the man who had examined the young killer whale approached the unibrowed man. The elder whispered something to the latter. The brute roared with laughter and shoved the old man out of his way. Asphyxiation bellowed her anger, and thrashed with surprising force. The boat shook beneath her flailing body.
"Just let her out now!" One of the men shouted in a panic. The boat continued to sway, and Asphyxiation began to sway with it, drawing very near to one of the boat's sides. Amidst all the pandemonium, the wrinkled old man slowly rose from the slippery deck of the ship. He worked his way through all the sprinting, slipping people, and approached Asphyxiation. The killer whale eyed him shrewdly, continuing to thrash. He stepped ever nearer and Asphyxiation stopped pounding the boat's deck. He smiled reassuringly, and murmured to her in a soothing, low voice. "Its alright, dear. I've been through worse, yes I have..." He continued to croon things to her. The orca, miraculously calmed, listened with interest, and did not notice all the other humans approaching them. The old man only stopped talking as a hatch at the back of the boat opened. The hinges screeched in protest, and a few of the humans winced as well. The tanned old man patted her on the side and motioned toward the door.
Asphyxiation doubted she had ever moved so quickly in her life. It seemed that the man had pointed at the hatch, and then she was suddenly in the water. Only feet away from the boat, she slammed her tail against the water, raising a huge splash, soaking all the humans on the little sea vessel. The crowd roared, all gathered at the very edge of the boat. Asphyxiation swam away, performing a few underwater loops of happiness. Once, she breached, watching for the boat. It was tiny, far away on the horizon, a long wake trailing behind it. As she breached, she glimpsed a curious sight. Another boat, much further than her own. It was merely a speck in the far distance, and speeding away. She swam toward it leisurely, concealing a raging need to see the reason for another vessel. It only took her a few minutes to reach the approximate spot where the boat had been.
She was not disappointed.
Lurking in the very edges of her vision, was a huge killer whale. Bigger than Kane was. Asphyxiation pretended not to notice. While she averted her eyes, she caught sight of another distant figure. This one was considerably smaller...or just farther away. She decided not to approach the other orca. Telling herself that she was not chickening out, she simply hovered in place, gaze darting between the two other sea creatures. She was not one to start conversations. Would they notice her and start speaking to her? Or would she be forced to be uncharacteristic and approach them? She dithered, unable to swim forward, but wanting to speak to at least one new creature.

The small silhouette had gone from his sight and with a sudden determination Collizion had launched off the sandy ground and into the open water once more, the smaller tropical fishes flailing to get out of his immense path. The sand had lifted from his vision; however, it was too late for him to stop his amble toward a creature who he had not seen there before. Wide-eyed, Zion contorted his body in a sharp angle toward the surface. H hit the air at speeds to fast to stop and as he breached he jumped out and back into the cool ocean waters. With a large splash in his wake, the brute stopped in his tracks to finally get a better look at what interrupted his path.
"A she-whale...?" he said faintly, the words dripping with a mixture of embarrassment and bewilderment. The brute looked her up and down before he actually attempted to talk to the female he had almost pummeled into. She was pretty large, about twenty feet, and yet slender. She gave him a sideways glance that exasperated the brute and yet entranced him. Shooting her a bothered glance he swam down toward the female and without thinking, as usual, he spouted out a rhetorical question, "Is it normal where you come from to just interrupt another's activities like that?" He wanted to play the whole embarrassing mix up like he had meant to shoot from the water's peaks, when all he was really doing was trying desperatly not to loose sight of the silhoette of the only other living thing, at that time, out there with him.
He floated just a few feet away from the femme and with a hot head he awaited her sassy response. Collizion had a exceptional sense of sizing others up and this she-whale was no exception. He feared he'd have quite a hard time getting out of this female's warpath she'd go into, especially after his comment which he simply shrugged off as nothing but he knew he was a rude mammal for saying so.

Asphyxiation did not blink. A rush of cold water slapped her in the face, and she showed no sign of surprise. The hulking figure had suddenly swam toward her at speed. The she-whale had been bracing for impact when the brute had turned upwards and breached. He then looped around to get a good look at her. Asphyxiation returned his stare impassively, discreetly raking her eyes up and down his body. He was a good deal larger than her...But she refused to be cowed. "Yes," She snapped, surprising herself with her grouchiness "Did you think I was a seal or something?" She sneered, the grimace only made her features more striking. She swam in slow circles, agitated.
"It isn't, as a matter of fact. Were you raised by savages? When is it appropriate to charge a lady?" She hissed. She was irked by the reference to her foreignness. It wasn't her fault that she was abandoned. No, it was her damn father's fault. She knew that much. Her first memories were almost gone, almost completely obscured in haze, but she was positive that she was not supposed to exist. If her father had just left her mother alone, Asphyxiation wouldn't have had to deal with everything that she had had to deal with. Pain lanced through her fin and her eyes darted to her fin. It twitched limply, the gray scar tissue pulsing. If it weren't for her father, she wouldn't have been born. She would have never experienced mind-numbing agony as the shark tore her flesh and skin.
The princess jerked herself out of such...depressing thoughts. Now was not the time, and this was not the place. She threw a withering look and the male killer whale, and swam towards the surface. Air and water burst out of her blowhole, and she drew another breath before diving below. Getting air was an excuse for her to compose herself. She approached the male face-on and drew to a stop a few feet from his massive frame. "For future reference, its quite unattractive to nearly kill someone." She offered a nearly sincere smile. It was all she could handle, boiling with rage as she was. This unfortunate soul was going to suffer. Somehow. Asphyxiation wasn't quite sure how, or when, but he was going to suffer.
That's just what happens when you piss Asphyxiation off.
Cocoa brown eyes didn't leave the face of her new victim friend. There was no venom in her gaze. It was mostly composed of a...detached interest. This was the default look for the she-whale, one that spoke of no emotions. It was coolly polite, and she relished the calculating looks that she often received from other sea creatures while subjecting them to it. Blinking, she again drew herself to the present. Asphyxiation was strangely philosophical today. It was almost as uncharacteristic as her blunt, rash anger. The killer whale idly cork-screwed, still half lost in thought and not paying too much attention to the other orca.

Were you raised by savages? When is it appropriate to charge a lady?' Collizion shot a deadly glare to the young female. Her attitude was much like his father's, snide, rude, audacious, and yet a lot like his own.
Collizion was taken aback by the she-whales stubbornness and lack of respect toward the beast. Actually, he was taken aback by the fact that he was actually talking to one of his own kind and actually feeling emotion, whether it be infuriating anger, the likes to boil his blood, but at least he had felt something. It had been who knows how long since he felt anything besides emptiness or had even talked to another living being besides the sharks he had tried to fend off after his mishap with that water vessel. Zion flinched at the horrible memory that etched itself into his mind, the horrified face of Caita and the other few whales that were taken passed Zion's watchful eye. As if a the same memory had played out before him Zion felt a wave of rage make it's way amongst the very fabrics of his being. And Once again without thinking he let out a sarcastic retort that dripped with hatred for the past that this young femme did not deserve. "Actually, I'd have to say that time should have been now. Too bad I missed" Zion spat scornfully.
Baring his teeth he swam toward the surface, his body trembling with the passing anger. His head breached and as if the spring wind had brushed his siring anger away with the tide, the brute took a lungful of air and dipped his body back down to where the femme was. Sighing loudly and not holding eye contact with the other whale he gruffly stated his apology but it didn't sound sincere and parts of it weren't, but it was the best the brute could muster up.
He heard the femme mutter something but he didn't hear or want to. She had lost her feisty nature and had seemed to become an empty shell in a matter of seconds. Zion was baffled but barley had any emotional strength left to humor the she-whale. Huffing loudly his eyes left the she-whales face where they only lingered for just a moment and then he searched the bright waters further on past his new acquaintance. Nothing that he could make out. Where had that smaller dolphin gone? Maybe she'd be a better target to pester with, the she-whale before him only sparked anger and draining memories he'd rather forget, but he had a feeling they'd share more then this casual argument.
Being totally drained from his relapse in memory, Zion slowly drifted to the sea floor where he was before. With the sudden onslaught of stress, the gash on his fin itched with a ferociousness. So cork-screwing slightly he rubbed his large body against the sand, kicking up another cloud in his wake. ”So what should I call you, princess?” He asked toward the she-whale but not looking to her. He called her not out of endearment but of mockery, but he knew she'd just take it and shrug it off, or retort with something snippy.

"Actually, I'd have to say that time should have been now. Too bad I missed."
No, no, they're fighting!
"No, they are not! They are arguing!" Hatred slashed back. It's the same thing! Dear oh dear, the mere fact of creatures fighting brings us to a tremble. What will happen if we get caught in the middle? The Voices flickered on and off with fear of being caught in a fight with two killer-whales. They killed- it was why their name was as such. "Quiet. Everyone, quiet. We need to be able to hear them talk, so we can see if they are new as well. Then maybe we can follow," Icy responded with a look that commanded silence. They would watch and see if these animals knew- But we will never be able to fight off two whales. Even more so if these whales are ticked, which they are... we're going to die! Adler shook those thoughts away, maw opening and closing as he took in the stance of the two whales. If there was only one... they would be able to have a feast on the remains of the whale. No longer a killer, but the prey. The thought made him near-excited, but an emotionless look came over his face once more. They needed to stay silent for any of this to work. What exactly are we doing, again? The Voices asked, trembling their displeasure.
"Watch the whales to see if they're new, you dimwits!
|
[/b]" Hatred snarled. Why The Voices asked such idiotic questions, he had no idea. The mere feeling of them speaking made him annoyed- them mentioning that they were going to die or be ripped to shreds. Only when the most best conditions in the world are present, do they calm to the very limits of their version of calm. The Voices were never calm, Hatred thought to himself, and continued watching the two killer whales as Icy ordered. Icy ordered everything nowadays- ever since Adler lost that one bit of wanting to live. Now they had to force him; and even then, the only thing Adler was focussed with mind clear enough to think good, was when he was torturing some small being. Icy understood it, The Voices understood it, and Hatred himself understood it. The Voices grew afraid when Adler's tone was an emotionless blood-thirsty want for, well, blood. The screams of the tortured. The blood filling his nostrils- the core personality yearned and longed for it, as nothing else satisfied him, or made him enjoy life. " Adler does not only enjoy that, fool. He enjoys one other thing- something that keeps him alive, and therefore, you as well," Icy responded coldly. Hatred didn't understand Adler Achmed very well- he only saw things in black and white. But there was more to that for Adler. More things that kept him moving, and not plunging himself into suicidal thoughts. It was searching for a family member that kept him going... even if he would never admit it himself. The Tiger shark never understood love, and he never would. The thought struck him as sad, but he did not feel it. Seeing the two whales bicker would have been amusing, had it been a shark that had none other personalities, but it was not. It was simply annoying, and boring. " So what should I call you, princess?" He seems annoyed! No, wait, no he doesn't. He seems like he is just trying to gain an answer! What a jerk! The Voices responded the last part with a laugh, while Adler stiffled cruel bark-like answer to their comment. Instead, he contented himself with moving forward at a seemingly-sluggish pace. The speed of which he moved was contridiary to how he looked, and he liked the confused faces it brought whenever he came up close to other creatures. The female whale had quite a right to be annoyed at the male at nearly running into her, but she didn't have to be such a bitch about it. Apprently she thinks she does, but doesn't bother to conceal it,' The Voices thought with disgust, shaking their heads at it, and conversing to themselves. Adler tuned them out until they were a mere murmur in his head, and instead concentrated on what Icy said to do. " We should make sure that none of them makes any aggressive moves. Otherwise they will end up with a bitten fin," Icy thought to him frostily, and turning to the female. She seemed to be the most dangerous of the two- even though she seemed to be hating the male now, he knew that if he attempted something on him, then the female would surely respond with violence. It was the way they worked. None of them could be truly angry at each other, he thought with even more disgust. Kill them!Torture them!Make them suffer! The Voices increased their barrage, and endlessly pounded into Adler's head like bees. Sometimes they were like this- needlessly violent to the captor that held them in. Not voicing them. But sometimes he did, just to rid himself of the pain of containing them. If you do not, we will remind you what you have done! You have to do this- no, you must!Adler felt Icy rebuke them to their hiding place, turning to Adler. " Do not mind them, Adler. They will find someone else in your head to bother. Right now, I need you to simply watch. Comment when neccesary, but if not... then be silent," Icy replied, sliding back into his darkness, while Adler swam forward at the same sluggish pace. " Whales cannot be angry toward each other. It's... simply not possible," Adler told them, his voice lacking any real emotion, and only holding emptiness where the tone should have been. His black eyes lazily flickered over the two whales, taking their image in, and storing it for future refference. Calypso looked as another orca approached the male. They all looked so big, the size was faintly intimidating seeing as she was so small compared to them. Swimming a bit closer, she noticed another shape in the distance. Was it a shark?
The new ocean was filled with more sound as the two whales seemed to be...arguing? She wondered what for. Boldly moving towards the large shapes until she could see them both clearly and was pretty sure they could see her too. "I suppose you two were dropped here by some humans too?" What was this place anyway? It was strange, this sea seemed so new and quiet. Possible in a good way. Glancing beyond the two whales, she couldn't rid her mind of the image of the shark. She hated sharks. They looked like such agressive and hostile creatures, not that she had ever taken the time to get to know them. It seemed ridiculous to swim up to one and start a normal conversation as she was doing to these whales.
Calypso looked expectantly at the gigantic creatures in front of her. Would they mind her barging into this conversation? Not that it seemed to be a very friendly talk. Moving back a few inches, she prepared herself to zoom away as fast as she could if things got bad. Being too safe never hurt anyone, did it?
The sound of the whirring human boats had disappeared now, she couldn't decide if that was great news or not. Sure she always wanted to get out of the rehabilitation center but she did know that she probably wouldn't have survived in the ocean at such a young age on her own.

As he spoke, she wanted to spit back in his face, but she refrained herself. She did not respond right away, but let his question stew for a moment or two."You may call me Asphyxiation. And before you ask, no, I will not tolerate a nickname. You'll just have to force it through your thick skull." Her tone remained idly polite, but beneath it was half of an undercurrent, and this undercurrent was one of malice and venom. Asphyxiation was no match for this brute in a fight, but she could give him a hard time, right?
Disgust flickered across her face for half a moment. That idiot looked like he was mentally challenged, displaying his stomach for all to see and raking his back across the sandy floor. Before she could inform him of this fact, movement danced in her peripheral vision. She swung around gracefully, large brown eyes fixed on a distant shark. He seemed to be as big as she was, and possessed razor sharp teeth, something she could not claim. Clicking loudly in agitation, she kept a close eye on him. As if in response to the memory stimulus, her fin throbbed. The killer whale bared her short teeth at the distant threat, and held her fin close to her side, cradled it. Her eyes narrowed and she gathered her muscles to charge it.
Before she could do so, yet another creature approached. This one, a dolphin, was small and agile. If it came down to battle, Asphyxiation could thwart her with ease. It might take her a while to land a hit, but when she did the dolphin had no chance of survival....Asphyxiation shook herself. The shark had muddled her senses, made her into a fighting machine. She eyed the new arrival with a little more irritation than she normally subjected acquaintances to. Before Asphyxiation could speak, however, the dolphin addressed the both of them. The female orca listened with seeming interest, but did not reply. She nodded distractedly, and instead of elaborating, she turned her eyes back to the shark, which had drawn nearer...
And it looked like it was talking to itself.
Just what I need, sighed Asphyxiation to herself, A crazy tiger shark. She hazarded a threat to the distant enemy. "Come any nearer and you'll regret it, scum!" On any other day, Asphyxiation might have ignored the shark. But today just seemed like it wasn't her day. First she was dumped off into the wilderness, then she got into a prissy little argument with a mentally retarded orca, and now this. She gritted her teeth and tensed her muscles, readying for a fight.

Snorting the stray sand that made its way near his vulnerable spout, Collizion used his strong back fin to arise from the sandstorm now below him. He had awakened a large cloud that wrapped itself around the two orcas. He turned his now content gaze to the femme and gently swayed his tail up and down keeping him just a few feet from his new bitter friend, and friend was used loosely. The sun created light rippled that ran along the whales' bodices, dancing happily along every inch of their massive bodies. At least the waves were happy, these two whales were not, but maybe they would hit that happy medium. Looking to the emotionless femme he thought again ”Maybe not.....”
”You may call me Asphyxiation. And before you ask, no, I will not tolerate a nickname. You'll just have to force it through your thick skull. ”
Zion shook his head slowly and a crooked smile slowly made his way to his maw, ”Ok Princess. Whatever you say” The Large whale kept a challenging eye to the femme, he had mocked her but he thought the nickname quite suited her sassy yet bitter and spoiled nature. His first experience in this odd, new ocean was definitely gonna be something to remember. Although at the end of the day, if the she-whale got any angrier at him or he said anything out of her context of respectful to her femininity his day would not be one he'd want to re-cal on a later date. Zion slowly circled the female, taking in every pattern, every scar the wrecked her complexion but made her—as well as her history—all the more intriguing. Holding his crooked smile, it slowly started to fade when he was halfway around the femme when he spotted something lurking past his makeshift curtain of sand. Stalking north from the large mammals was a shark, and not a small one at the sight of him.
Stiffening his position above Asphyxiation, his body started to tremble with fury and the craving to rip the shark apart. His experience with sharks was never a good one, who's is? Fighting the urge to charge forward he held his position suspended a few feet above the she-whale. He could feel the tension seaping of her skin like the black tar from an oil spill. Suffocating. Zion was about to snarl a warning toward the haunting figure lurking behind the cloud, until an uncertain and hesitant voice spoke from behind the brute. Turing his head slightly to where the soft spoken voice came from, he was relieved not to see another shark but the small dolphin he had seen in the distance not too long ago.
”I suppose you two were dropped here by some humans too?"
|
[/i] the small dolphin said softly, fear tingling in her voice, most likely from the shark in the distance. She had seen it too and was smart to stay back, especially with two tense orcas and a schizophrenic shark. Clearing his throat but never taking his threatening glare away from the shark he curtly answered her question with a simple statement that said everything, ”Unfortunately...” He faked a quick smile to the dolphin, trying his best not to hurt the small creature, and he turned back to the shark. He had no complications with the small mammal and wanted not to hurt her feelings. He actually fell sympathy for mammals smaller than himself, almost a pity, and so did the same with this dolphin who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Asphyxiation barked a threat to the lurking shadow and Collizion placed himself between the femme, the small dolphin a bit far off, and the rambling shark before him. He assumed the she-whale wouldn't like or appreciate his gesture but it just made it all the more worth while. Oddly enough he liked getting under the princess's skin. ”Back off vermin! I didn't order any dinner for two” he joked, fighting the rise of another curt smile on his black maw. Calypso looked in slight confusion as the male orca flashed a smile at her. Obviously a fake but she appreciated the attempt. 'Unfortunately...' She spotted something in his voice. Pity? No not quite, but she was still outraged. She might be small, but that didn't mean anything! Cally swallowed back the bitter comments that were desperately screaming to be freed and turned her attention back to the shark. The female hurled a threat at the shark which still lurked in the shadows. He might as well come out. Everyone had noticed hom already after all.
Silently, Calypso watched Collizion move in front of her and the she-orca. Another wave of smart remarks came but she kept them hidden carefully, fuming inside. So she had a temper, who said she had to be nice all the time?
'Back off vermin! I didn't order any dinner for two' the male joked. Probably not a smart move, but she kept that to herself. If the shark did attack, all Cally had to do was go speeding off like a bullet then the two killer whales would take care of the predatory beast. Easy. Hopefully everything would work out. Calypso stayed silent, instead of calling the shark forward with a possible threat or cleaver joke, she watched expectantly. Her slippery body was tense, ready for a quick escape. Nothing like a shark to make her agitated and grumpy.

His fate had already been sealed, but now its priority on her revenge list had kicked up a few notches. This brute was beginning to really anger her. But she forced herself to keep her composure. Her reply was soft, but she knew he could hear it. "My name is not Princess." Now contemplating her choices, Asphyxiation raised an imaginary eyebrow at the male's challenging glare. He was looking for her to fight back. If she just kept quiet and ignored his provocations, how would he react?
She did not have long to contemplate this, as he suddenly darted in front of her. The gesture was nice. Chivalrous, even. But Asphyxiation did not appreciate chivalry. She was quite offended, but chose to hide it. The female orca slid smoothly past her male annoyance, keeping her face devoid of emotion. Emotion flickered in her eyes, however as they fixed on the shark. A bone-deep, jaw-gnashing anger. It rose inside of her body like a tidal wave, washing through it and leaving the bitter aftertaste of hatred. Sharks were forever her mortal enemies. The creatures should die, and Asphyxiation was happy to help them to. This mammoth predator was roughly the same size as her, but sleeker, with sharper teeth. She wouldn't be able to fend him off when alone, but with a partner the schizophrenic tiger shark stood no chance.
Wait. Her partner?
Since when was the idiot beside her considered her partner? He was annoying and surprisingly large, but that did not classify him as anything more than yet another enemy. She hazarded a side-ways glance at him, and the mocking smile plastered on his jaw drew a mixture of surprising emotions out of her. Humor. Kinship. Fondness. And maybe the slightest sliver of attraction. Ebony lips split in a warm, sincere smile, without meaning to. Asphyxiation drifted slightly closer and said in a stage-whisper. "So, what shall I call you? After all, I need to know who I'm saving from this bloodthirsty shark." This time, she was only teasing, and she hoped he noticed. The male killer whale (haha that rhymed) was sinking lower and lower on that revenge list, until eventually he slipped off of it. And onto a completely different list.
Now the idea of being partners wasn't so bad.
At this, Asphyxiation got a hold of herself. You just met him. Don't be a fool. Still, she could not deny that Kane was not half as good looking. Don't compare him to Kane, idiot! Don't even mention Kane! Hissed that surprising mental voice that everyone has. But it was too late. An onslaught of images, conversations, and memories burst into Fissy's mind. A knot of pain also tightened its hold on her heart. Kane had been her first and only love. She had been ripped away from him, and what was she doing now? Dirty, rotten, cheating creature! Accused her mind. This wasn't true though. Kane had always regarded her as a smaller sibling. Definitely not the kind of relationship that Asphyxiation was looking for, at least with him. Kane was the most handsome killer whale Fissy had ever seen. It was true, though, that her choices of handsomest orcas were not that varied. She had met exactly six male orcas, not including this one.
She was pathetic, really.
Look at her, slavering after some creature she had just met. What was she doing?! What was she thinking?! That's it... Approved her mental voice. No, wait...What was that voice doing there? It certainly wasn't hers...Was she going crazy? I am your voice of reason, idiot. Your conscience, in other words. Asphyxiation grinned wryly to herself. My conscience is rude. And unneeded. I'm ignoring you now. Thanks. With those matters over with, the she-whale advanced on the shark a few feet. Now only fifty feet separated the two marine animals. How much longer until they collided? How much longer until they fought? Would they fight? Asphyxiation now felt confident about the clash, especially with the mammoth creature beside her on her side.

OOC; for clarification purposes, Asphyxiation's conscience's voice is simply italics. Asphyxiation's thoughts to her conscience are this color.

Arrow didn't want to see the two massive animals fight. He felt bad for spying again. He didn't know why he did it. The Arrow did something very brave but stupid. He propelled himself forward, ignoring any shocked stares. "I'm sorry I was rude and intrusive," he said. "I don't like fighting. Please don't. I won't let it happen. You probably now hate me for listening in on you. But that's what I do... Never mind. I better be on my way." And with that, he swished away, leaving only a shadowy silhouette and a ripple in the water.
